I was born in Czechoslovakia in 1968 and got my first camera when I was 13.
I studied black and white photography at the University of Tennessee, which is when I became interested in more serious photographic work.

The images in this online gallery were taken between 1997 and now. I use Pentax semi-automatic 35 mm camera, medium format Yashica and large format Graflex Crown Graphics.
